In short
Zid stores can trigger Arabic WhatsApp, SMS and RCS messages through OmniChannels.ai for order confirmations, shipping updates, COD checks and review requests. An app built with Zid's partner and app APIs subscribes to store webhooks and sends them to n8n, Make, Zapier or your own code, which then calls our REST API with your token. There is no Zid app from us to install.
What you can do
Arabic order confirmation
When an order is created, send an approved Arabic WhatsApp template with the order number and total, or an SMS from your registered sender ID.
Shipping and delivery updates
When the order status changes to shipped or delivered, send the tracking link on WhatsApp.
Cash-on-delivery confirmation
Ask COD customers on WhatsApp to confirm before dispatch. Their reply arrives on your webhook, and your automation updates the order.
Abandoned cart reminder
Where your Zid app can read abandoned carts, remind customers who opted in to marketing, using an approved Arabic WhatsApp marketing template.
Back in stock and review requests
Notify customers who asked to hear when an item is back, and ask for a review a few days after delivery.
Ask an AI assistant
An assistant connected to both our MCP server and your Zid store, through a connector of its own, can find the orders and send the updates after you approve.
Try asking
“Send a WhatsApp order update in Arabic to customers whose orders shipped today.”
How it connects
Zid gives partners APIs to build apps that merchants authorise, and those apps can subscribe to store webhooks such as order events. You register an app through Zid's partner programme, request the access it needs and set the webhook target URL. Event names and app requirements change over time, so check Zid's current developer documentation.
Our API does not accept Zid's payload as it is. Point the webhook at n8n, Make, Zapier or a small endpoint of your own, which reads the phone number and order fields and calls our REST API with your token: JSON for a single SMS, multipart/form-data for WhatsApp templates. Delivery statuses and customer replies come back to the one webhook URL configured on your OmniChannels.ai account.
- Store events come through an app built on Zid's partner APIs
- Route them through n8n, Make, Zapier or your own code to our API
- Approved Arabic and English WhatsApp templates; opt-in for marketing
- SMS sender IDs for Saudi Arabia must be registered before use
- Statuses and replies arrive on your account's webhook URL
