In short
Salla stores can trigger Arabic WhatsApp, SMS and RCS messages through OmniChannels.ai for order confirmations, shipping updates, COD checks and abandoned cart reminders. Store events reach you as webhooks through an app registered in the Salla Partners portal, sent to n8n, Make, Zapier or your own code, which then calls our REST API. There is no Salla app from us to install.
What you can do
Arabic order confirmation
When an order is created, send an approved Arabic WhatsApp template with the order number and total, or an SMS from your registered sender ID.
Shipping and delivery updates
When the order status changes to shipped or delivered, send the tracking link and expected delivery date on WhatsApp.
Cash-on-delivery confirmation
Ask COD customers on WhatsApp to confirm before dispatch. Their reply arrives on your webhook, and your automation updates the order to reduce failed deliveries.
Abandoned cart reminder
Where Salla reports abandoned carts to your app, remind customers who opted in to marketing, using an approved Arabic WhatsApp marketing template.
OTP and review requests
Your own code can send a one-time code by SMS or WhatsApp, and a follow-up after delivery can ask for a product review.
Ask an AI assistant
An assistant connected to both our MCP server and your Salla store, through a connector of its own, can find the orders and send the updates after you approve.
Try asking
“Send a WhatsApp order update in Arabic to customers whose orders shipped today.”
How it connects
Salla delivers store events, such as new orders and status changes, as webhooks to apps that merchants install. You create an app in the Salla Partners portal, often a private app for your own store, choose the events and set the webhook URL. The available events and app types change over time, so check Salla's current developer documentation.
Our API does not accept Salla's payload as it is. Point the webhook at n8n, Make, Zapier or a small endpoint of your own, which reads the phone number and order fields and calls our REST API with your token: JSON for a single SMS, multipart/form-data for WhatsApp templates. Delivery statuses and customer replies come back to the one webhook URL configured on your OmniChannels.ai account.
- Events come through an app in the Salla Partners portal
- Route them through n8n, Make, Zapier or your own code to our API
- Approved Arabic and English WhatsApp templates; opt-in for marketing
- SMS sender IDs for Saudi Arabia must be registered before use
- Statuses and replies arrive on your account's webhook URL
