Short answer
Yes, you can resell the WhatsApp Business API under your own brand by working with a Meta Solution Partner or becoming a Meta Tech Provider. Your console, billing and support can carry your brand, but each client owns its own WhatsApp Business Account, verifies its business with Meta and must follow Meta's policies.
What Meta's partner model allows
Meta lets partners provide WhatsApp Business Platform services to other businesses. The partner type decides who pays Meta.
- A Tech Provider can work with a Solution Partner in a Multi-Partner Solution: both manage the client's assets, and clients use the Solution Partner's credit line.
| Partner type | Credit line | Who pays Meta |
|---|---|---|
| Solution Partner | Yes, can be extended to clients it onboards | The partner, through its credit line |
| Tech Provider | No | Each client adds its own payment method and Meta bills it |
| Tech Partner | As a Tech Provider | A Tech Provider that is, or can become, a Meta Business Partner |
What stays with each end client
- Ownership: Meta states that businesses onboarded through Embedded Signup own all of their WhatsApp assets, and partners cannot restrict their access.
- Business verification: Meta requires clients to verify their business. Select Solution Partners can submit it on a client's behalf.
- Identity: customers see the client's display name and number, not the reseller's brand.
- Templates, quality rating and messaging limits are managed per WhatsApp Business Account.
- Opt-in and Meta's policies apply to each client's messages, and the client can later share its account with another partner.
Steps to launch a white-label WhatsApp offer
- Choose your model: partner with a Solution Partner, or apply to Meta as a Tech Provider.
- Put the Embedded Signup flow in your own branded portal so clients create or connect their accounts.
- Agree how Meta's message charges and your platform fee will be billed.
- Help each client complete business verification, display name and template approval.
- Give each client its own sub-account, users and webhooks.
Working with an official Solution Partner
BroadNet, the company behind OmniChannels.ai, is an official Meta Business Solution Provider. Resellers get a console, billing, invoices and reports in their own brand, sub-accounts per client, and WhatsApp charged at Meta's rate with zero markup.
