**Definition:** Google Jibe is Google's RCS platform for mobile operators. It provides a hosted RCS backend that carriers can use instead of running their own, and an interconnect hub that links RCS networks so messages flow between operators.

Jibe Mobile was an RCS vendor that Google acquired. Its platform became the backbone of RCS in Google Messages: operators can launch RCS on Jibe's hosted cloud rather than building their own infrastructure, and use the Jibe hub to interconnect with other RCS networks.

Many large operators have moved their Android RCS to Jibe. This is one reason RCS behaves consistently in Google Messages across networks.

For RCS Business Messaging, the Jibe infrastructure carries business traffic from RBM agents to users. Carriers use Google's RBM Admin Console to manage agents launched on their network and to see message activity and billing. Google's former jibe.google.com site now redirects to the RCS for Business developer documentation.

Businesses do not contract with Jibe directly. They work through an RBM partner, and the partner handles agent creation and carrier launches.
