To request it, a business needs an API phone number with business verification, two-step verification, an approved display name, at least 30 days on the platform and policy compliance. ## Meta's eligibility criteria

Meta does not grant OBA status to WhatsApp Business app numbers, employees or test accounts.

- A business portfolio verified through Meta Business Verification.
- Two-step verification enabled on the phone number.
